What Are All-on-6 Implants?

All-on-6 implants are a full-mouth restoration method designed for patients who have lost all their teeth or experienced advanced tooth loss. Six titanium implants placed at strategic angles in the upper or lower jaw, or both, create a strong foundation for a fixed, natural-looking dental bridge.

Compared with All-on-4, using two additional implants allows support to be distributed across a wider area of the jawbone. This means greater durability and long-term stability, particularly for patients with better bone density.

Every treatment begins with a comprehensive examination and a 3D digital scan. Based on the results, a completely personalised plan is prepared, taking colour, shape and function into account.

How do All-on-6 implants differ from All-on-4? Which one is right for me?

Both methods provide full-arch tooth restoration. The difference lies in the number of implants used. All-on-6 creates a wider support area with six implants and provides additional stability, particularly for patients with more suitable bone density. All-on-4 is a faster and more economical solution for patients with bone loss. The most suitable option for you will become clear after a free consultation and 3D scan.

How long does the recovery process take, and is special care required?

Initial healing takes between a few days and one week. Mild swelling and sensitivity are normal during this period. It takes several months for the implants to fully bond with the jawbone (osseointegration). During this time, maintaining good oral hygiene and following our recommended care instructions is sufficient.

How soon can I return to normal eating and speaking?

Because your temporary prostheses are fitted immediately after the operation, you can return to normal speech quickly. Soft foods are recommended for the first few days, and you can gradually return to your usual eating habits within a week.

Do you use high-quality, approved materials?

Yes. We use medical-grade titanium implants and FDA-approved materials that comply with international standards in our treatments. For prosthetic options, we prefer zirconia, which stands out for its natural appearance, whiteness and long-lasting durability.

Your temporary prostheses are fitted immediately after the operation. The permanent prostheses are placed once the implants have fully bonded with the bone, usually after a few months. Whether a second trip is required for this stage will be clarified during your consultation according to your treatment plan.
