The principle that guides us
Every decision we make must serve the patient’s long-term oral health and quality of life.
For us, innovative dentistry is not about buying the newest machine. A method being new does not make it right; what matters to us is whether it changes the treatment in the patient's favour. We work with three-dimensional imaging, digital planning and intraoral scanning because they make treatment safer and the result more predictable and longer-lasting. If a technology offers none of that, it has no place in the clinic, however new it may be.
We are against a treatment decision taken before the examination. Naming a price, drawing up a plan or promising a timescale before anyone has looked inside the mouth means making a promise that will have to be taken back later. We are against promises that cannot be kept: no treatment can be guaranteed for life, and no result turns out the same in everyone. We are against speed coming before quality; a treatment that takes less time is not the same thing as a good treatment. And most of all, we are against a patient getting up from the chair without understanding what has been done.
We listen first, then we look, and we decide last. We do not draw up a plan before the examination and the imaging are complete; and the plan we do draw up can still change, and if it changes we explain why. Because our dentists from different fields work under one roof, we assess the mouth as a whole rather than from a single angle. Every decision we take is measured against one question: does it serve the patient's long-term oral health and quality of life?
The ‘with love’ beside the name of our clinic is not a slogan, it is the way we work. The person sitting in front of us is not a case; they are someone with a history, fears and expectations of their own. We know that sitting down in a dentist's chair is not easy for most people, so we do not rush you and we listen until you have run out of questions. Being able to speak in your own language is part of this too: a night spent worrying over a sentence that was misunderstood is something that can be prevented.
We do not treat satisfaction as a score. For us the measure is that the patient leaves the clinic understanding what has been done, that they can reach us whenever they have a question, and that they are not left on their own once the treatment is over. For a patient coming from abroad this counts for even more: the contact that starts before the flight carries on after the journey home. When something does not go to plan, we are still right here; being beside someone while everything is going well is easy, and real trust is built when things go wrong.
Our aim is not only smiles that look flawless. We plan treatments that balance health with aesthetics, function with a natural look, and today's need with tomorrow's expectation. Because dentistry done properly changes more than a smile: it also changes how a person sees themselves, their quality of life and their confidence.
