Is dental treatment in Turkey safe?
Papatya Dental Clinic is an internationally accredited facility using German and Italian technology and following international sterilisation standards. Your dentist assesses your suitability and explains the proposed treatment before care begins.
Will there be a language barrier?
Tell us your preferred language when booking your Truro MeetUp place. Our team will confirm English-language support and the language of your treatment documents before your visit.
What if something goes wrong after I’m home?
Your treatment includes 12 months of aftercare. Your coordinator remains reachable on WhatsApp after you return to the UK. If you have a concern, contact our team so we can discuss the appropriate follow-up arrangements.
How long do I need to stay in Turkey?
Most treatments are completed within 5–7 days. Your exact timeline is confirmed with our team before you travel.
How do I pay?
Payment is made at the clinic, with transparent pricing agreed in advance. We accept card, credit card, bank transfer, and cash.
Does attending a MeetUp commit me to anything?
Not at all. MeetUps are free, no-pressure and no-obligation. Come, ask questions, and decide in your own time.
Are flights and accommodation included?
We arrange your airport transfers, hotel and clinic transport. Flight and accommodation arrangements are tailored to your treatment plan. Our team confirms what is included and any separate costs during planning, before you book.

Your journey, step by step
From your first message to your flight home
This is how a treatment trip with us works in practice: who you talk to, who meets you at the airport, where you stay and what happens on each day.
1. At home
Before you travel
- Send us photos, videos or a recent X-ray on WhatsApp. The online assessment is free.
- Our specialist dentists review them and prepare a preliminary plan. You usually hear back within about three hours; complex cases can take longer.
- Recent panoramic X-rays or 3D scans taken in your own country are accepted.
- A personal coordinator explains the plan, agrees the dates with you and stays with you until your aftercare.
- Our coordination team works in shifts, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. On WhatsApp we aim to reply within about 10 minutes.
- You only buy your flight and send us the details; we arrange the rest. Your coordinator can help you find flights that fit your treatment dates and, if you need one for a visa, prepare a letter on clinic letterhead.
- Prefer to meet first? Come to a MeetUp, or book a consultation at our London or Helsinki office and bring your latest X-ray or 3D scan if you have one. No treatment is done at the offices; your final plan is made after your examination in Antalya.
2. Day 1
Arriving in Antalya
- Our own driver picks you up at any hour, including late-night and early-morning flights. If your flight is delayed, the pick-up moves with it.
- Before you travel, we send you a short video showing the way from arrivals to the meeting point. Airport rules no longer allow name boards, so after you come out, go to the transfer desk on your left and find your name there.
- We mainly use Antalya Airport. Gazipaşa or Dalaman can also be arranged; an extra charge may apply for the longer drive.
- Airport transfers are included in treatment plans above a certain amount. For other plans, your coordinator tells you the terms before you travel.
3. Your hotel
Where you stay
- We work with partner hotels of three, four and five stars, chosen for comfort and an easy trip to the clinic.
- Standard accommodation is included in our treatment packages, especially for full-mouth treatment. A higher category or a different hotel can be arranged at an extra cost.
- On packages that include accommodation, a companion can share your room at no extra accommodation cost.
- Typical stays: about 7 days for treatment completed in one trip. For treatment over two trips, about 5 days on the first trip and about 7 on the second.
- Staying in a hotel you booked yourself, or in an apartment? We still pick you up and take you to every appointment.
4. Treatment days
At the clinic
- We drive you between your hotel and the clinic for every appointment.
- Your coordinator or an interpreter is with you at examinations and treatment steps, so nothing is lost in translation.
- A companion can join you at the examination. During surgery and treatment, they wait in our waiting area, for hygiene and safety.
- Local anaesthesia is included. If you need sedation or general anaesthesia, it is given under the supervision of an anaesthesiologist and costs extra; you are told before treatment.
5. Payment
Paying for your treatment
- We can quote in pounds, euros or US dollars.
- For treatment completed in one trip, you pay during that trip. For treatment over two or more trips, you pay for each stage on the trip it is done.
- You can pay by card, bank transfer or cash. There is no surcharge for paying by card.
- If your travel dates change, tell your coordinator and your appointments are rebooked.
6. Aftercare
After you go home
- For 12 months after your treatment, we stay in touch online about your healing and any questions you have.
- If something comes up, your details go straight to our specialist dentists. Depending on the issue, we refer you to a partner aftercare dentist abroad or invite you back to Antalya.
What a typical stay looks like
Two examples. Your own programme follows your treatment plan and is set by your dentist.
All-on-4, All-on-6 and implants: first trip
- Day 1
Arrival
We meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
- Day 2
Examination and surgery
A detailed examination and imaging. Once your plan is final, the implants are placed. Where suitable, digital scans are taken for your temporary teeth.
- Day 3
Temporary teeth
If your plan includes temporary teeth, they are tried in, and the fit, bite and look are checked.
- Day 4
Final checks
We check how you are healing and how your temporary teeth fit, make adjustments and explain how to look after your mouth while it heals.
- Day 5
Flight home
We take you to the airport with your aftercare instructions.
For treatment over two trips, your final teeth are made on the second trip, after the healing time your dentist sets. Surgery, temporary teeth and the day you fly home depend on your clinical situation.
Veneers and Hollywood smile
- Day 1
Arrival
We meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for resting.
- Day 2
Examination and smile design
Your dentist examines your teeth and plans the shade, shape and line of your smile with you. The teeth are prepared, and digital impressions go to the laboratory.
- Days 3–5
Try-ins
Your new teeth are tried in. Shape, shade, bite and overall look are checked and adjusted with you.
- Day 6
Final check
Bite, comfort and look are checked one last time, and we explain how to care for your new teeth in the long term.
- Day 7
Flight home
We take you to the airport with your new smile.
How long treatment takes depends on how many teeth are treated and whether anything else is needed.

Your preliminary plan is made as complete as possible, so price changes are rare. Some things only show at the examination or during treatment, for example a tooth that needs a root canal while it is being prepared for a crown. When you arrive at our clinic, you'll be welcomed by our friendly team with complimentary tea or coffee. After completing your registration, we'll guide you through your treatment plan and explain each step of the process.
Im traveled from Canada. I needed extensive dental work. I had 6 IHDE basal cortical implants on lower and a few titanium bars on the upper. Included were 24 beautiful zirconia crowns. Im leaving after 7 days completed restored , pain-free and happy. I would be doing a disservice if I did mention the staff. It was unbelievable the care they gave me. From coffee server, to the front reception, to xray girl, to photo girl, to the dentist Samed, his singing assistant, the other girl assistant, to the manager lady, and a special shout out to Emre, but most of all , a massive thanks to my dental coordinator, the fantastic, the professional, Anya. Dental Treatment in Turkey How It Works, Step by Step
Every stage is written down here, from your first message to your flight home. You will know when to book your flight, who meets you at the airport and how the first day at the clinic goes before you set off.
The same coordinator stays with you throughout and writes to you in your own language. Your plan is settled after the examination; the number of stages and the timings can change with the treatment.
Step 01
Same dayFirst contact
You reach us on WhatsApp, by phone or through the form. We ask what is troubling you, whether you already have x-rays, and how long you can stay in Turkey. If you have no images, photographs of your teeth are enough to begin with.
Step 02
1-2 daysAssessment and treatment plan
Our dentists go through what you have sent and write back with the options that suit you, how many appointments they take and how many days to set aside. This is a provisional plan: it takes its final shape after the examination at the clinic.
Step 03
Dates and flights
We settle on a date range together, based on how long the treatment takes. The schedule is confirmed before you buy your ticket, so that your return flight matches the end of the treatment.
Step 04
Arrival dayArriving in Antalya
We meet you at the airport and take you to where you are staying. Sending us your flight details in advance is enough; flights that land late at night are met as well.
Step 05
Where you stay and getting around
We book you a room at one of the hotels near the clinic. Every journey between the hotel and the clinic is covered by us, so you never have to look for a taxi.
Step 06
First dayFirst day at the clinic: examination and imaging
We examine your mouth and take a panoramic x-ray, and a CBCT scan if it is needed. Your dentist goes through the plan with you; it can still change at this point, and if it does you are told why.
Step 07
As plannedTreatment
The treatment is carried out over the planned appointments. On the free days in between you can see the city; your appointment times are set from the start. You speak your own language throughout.
Step 08
After you leaveGoing home and follow-up
After the final check you set off with your aftercare instructions. Once you are home you can write to us while you heal, and have a video appointment if you need one.
